Every month, a new challenge drops. Sometimes it's a remix contest. Sometimes it's a sample pack challenge. Sometimes it's something completely unexpected.
The goal? Simple:
Finish a track.
No endless tweaking.
No "I'll get to it eventually."
Just you, a deadline, and real prizes for the winners.

Found-Sound Soundscapes
Use your phone (or anything else) to capture sounds from your area, and create a soundscape using them.

Details:
Explore the sounds of your neighborhood! Record them using your phone, or any other recording device.
Import your samples into your DAW, and create a soundscape: a meditative compsition that gives the listener a feeling of being in a physiucal space.
You can use other sound sources as well, but be sure the found sound is the most obvious part of the composition.

Prizes:
The winning track will be the one that shows the most creativity (not the most technical production skill) based entirely on Dr. J's opinion.

At the beginning of the month, I'll provide you with a small sample pack. Your job is to make a new track using only those samples.
You may not use any other samples, but you can generate as many samples as you can by modifying these. Think about putting them into samplers, making drums out of them - get creative!
